We love questions at Currimundi Campus!
If you can’t find your answer below please reach out- we are only to happy to help.
How do I enrol?
We begin the enrolment process by booking a tour. This can be done through this website or contacting the office on 07) 54919666. We feel this is the best way to showcase our learning environment and answer any questions that you may have. Its also a great way to meet the team and introduce your child. Once your spot is confirmed you will be emialed a link that will guide you through the online forms.
How much do I pay?
The amount that you will pay will depend on your Child Care Subsidy (CCS). This a government subsidy through Centrelink that means the government will pay a portion of your fees depending on your family’s income. This means your fees can be as little as $20 per day. You can find out what your percentage rate and begin your CCS linkage by clicking here. Linking your CCS to Currimundi Campus is a few easy steps that can be done in minutes!
Do I need to supply meals for my child whilst in your care?
No- no more time spent on making lunches! We have a fully qualified onsite chef to prepare delicious, nutritionally balanced meals for your child each day. This includes morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and morning and late afternoon snacks.
If your child has a medically diagnosed food allergy or intolerance, we will work with you to ensure they receive meals that meet their dietary and nutritional needs. We also incorporate food education in our program, encouraging the children to participate in food prep, serving and cooking classes.
What do I need to supply each day?
We try to make life as easy as possible for our busy parents! We supply wipes, sunscreen, filtered water and insect repellent. We do ask you to bring a labelled water bottle, cot sized pair of sheets any bottles or formula and nappies if needed. We also ask for family photos etc to help your child settle in and feel a sense of belonging.
What are your opening hours?
We have extended hours for your convenience – Monday to Friday 6:30am to 6:30pm. Families are welcome to pick up and drop off whenever they like!
What is a long day care centre?
Our long day care centre (LDCC) provides educational care the added bonus of extended hours and supplied meals. Like pre-schools, LDCCs are required by law to provide a structured learning program.
How do I gain feedback about my child’s progress or voice concerns?
We love feedback and communication from families. While we use Xplor for easy communication through the app messages we also love face to face conversations. You can also call us at any time! We encourage open and honest communication between staff and families. Your concerns are important to us.
Can I have an extra day on a casual basis?
Yes! This can easily be done at any time through the Xplor app or emailing our centre director. If spaces do become limited we will advise families in advance.
